Abstract Submission

The Organizing Committee invites all interested participants from academia, research laboratories, and industry around the world in the fields of Vacuum and Surface Sciences to the newest technologies and devices to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. We welcome you to contribute to the most up-to-date research and the latest developments from around the world.

Questions about the abstract or technical topics, or about the program format or policies of the conference, should be directed to the secretariat at vasscaa13@kvs.or.kr.

Please follow these guidelines carefully

• Submission Method: All abstracts must be submitted online in English via the official website.
• Required Information: Authors must provide the full title, names of all authors, their respective affiliations, and contact email addresses during the submission process.
• Edits and Modifications: Submitted abstracts may be edited or modified until the submission deadline. Please ensure all information is accurate, as no further changes will be permitted once the deadline has passed.
• Presentation Type for Invited Speakers: Please select “Plenary” or “Invited” only if you have received an official invitation from the Technical Program Committee (TPC).
• Presentation Preferences: Authors may indicate their preference for an oral or poster presentation. However, the final decision will be made by the Program Committee following a peer-review process.
• Submission Confirmation: An automated acknowledgment will be sent to the corresponding author and presenter's email address upon successful submission.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your submission status or verify your email address.
  • Incomplete submissions will not be considered for the program.

Notification of Acceptance

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Program Committee in accordance with the official review procedures. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email to the corresponding author and presenter by June 12, 2026. Acceptance of the abstract implies that at least one author must register and present the work at the conference.

Withdrawal of abstracts

If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not complete registration by July 10, 2026, the abstract may be withdrawn from the final program. If you need to withdraw an abstract, please notify the VASSCAA 13 Secretariat in writing as soon as possible
